COZA: 2026 7 DAYS OF GLORY ENDS WITH Tears, Testimonies and Triumph

The 2026 edition of 7 Days of Glory (7DG), hosted by the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), concluded after a week-long convergence marked by structured worship, large-scale participation and a strong emphasis on testimonies, healing and spiritual renewal. The annual programme, convened by Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo alongside Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo, drew thousands of worshippers both physically and via online platforms, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s most prominent faith-based gatherings.

Right from Day One through Day Seven, the services followed a consistent format of coordinated praise, extended worship sessions and teaching ministrations, all delivered within a tightly managed environment supported by an extensive volunteer and logistics system. The church officials maintained order throughout the week, with the COZA ushering team coordinating crowd movement, seating and access with notable efficiency despite high attendance. Transportation support and refreshments were also provided daily, a welfare component that remained constant across the programme.

Day Four of the programme stood out as a defining moment, combining high-energy praise with deeply reflective worship and a message that prompted visible congregational response. Gospel minister Esther Igbekele opened the service with vibrant praise, engaging the audience in a high-tempo session that set the tone for the evening. This was followed by a transition into slower, more contemplative worship led by Ada Zion, during which the atmosphere shifted significantly, with many attendees observed in prayer, tears and quiet reflection.

The teaching segment was delivered by Pastor Mark Barker, who spoke on alignment, awakening, giving and purposeful living. His message drew immediate response, with spontaneous prayers breaking out across the auditorium as congregants reacted to the themes presented.

The sequence of praise, worship and teaching on that day reflected a deliberate progression from celebration to introspection, making it one of the most talked-about sessions of the week. Throughout the programme, services maintained a disciplined flow, with each day building on the momentum of the previous sessions. The combination of music, teaching and organised service delivery sustained participation levels and ensured continuity in engagement.

Observers noted that the operational framework of the event, ranging from crowd control to welfare services, played a key role in sustaining focus within the large gathering. The seventh and final day was characterised by a surge in testimonies from participants, many of whom reported personal breakthroughs and answered prayers experienced during the course of the programme.

In his closing address, Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo pronounced blessings over the congregation, declaring assurances of healing, victory and breakthrough. The declarations formed the high point of the final session, bringing the week-long programme to a close on a note of expectation and affirmation. With its conclusion, the 2026 edition of 7 Days of Glory added to the growing profile of the annual event, which continues to attract a wide audience within and outside Nigeria.

For attendees, the programme represented a sustained period of worship and reflection, culminating in testimonies and closing declarations that organisers say define the essence of the gathering.

As participants dispersed at the end of Day Seven, the impact of the week’s activities remained evident in personal accounts shared across the congregation, underscoring the event’s continued relevance on the nation’s religious calendar.
